Making Soap started as a coping process to help work through the death of a loved one. Even when it felt like our world was over, the responsibilities, deadlines, and stress of life had no pause button. We had to be strong for our family, friends, and co-workers. We learned that having a good day is a choice, not a coincidence. Just like making your bed or having a cup of coffee in the morning, the little things matter and help build self-confidence. Our soap became a vital part of our morning routine and an anchor to starting our day stress-free with a strong mentality. Our friends fell in love with our products, and we realized we can help bring the same experience to the world and be a voice of positivity. Thus SYM was born.

We know people have incredibly busy lives and things that are good for the soul often take a backseat to responsibilities. We want to help people transform their daily shower into a soothing, almost meditative experience that helps strengthen their resolve.
Soap Making Process
We want our soaps to help people start their day positively. Our soap is the alkali salt of fatty acids. To make our soap, we are using what is called the “Cold Process” method that allows incorporating natural oils and other additives in our bars. During the Cold Process, lye is mixed with water, creating an alkaline solution. This solution is then mixed with natural oils and butters. In the process of mixing these ingredients at room temperature, Saponification occurs, turning fats and lye into soap. Because water is used to dissolve lye, the soap bars need to dry for 4-6 weeks. After the bars of soap are dry, they are ready for use.
We make our soaps by hand from start to finish. We pour our soap into special forms in small batches and produce each type of soap with a specific recipe. After the solution hardens, each bar is cut by hand, trimmed, and stamped with our company logo, signifying that we are proud of its quality. A detailed description of ingredients is provided with each bar of soap. Each bar has a different scent. Try them all and tell us which one is your favorite.
We don’t use detergents and any harmful chemicals in our soaps. Every bar we sell we use ourselves. Each bar is made with care and love we want to pass to you!
